AIC RAISE, one of the first and leading startup incubation centers in Coimbatore, hosted a mega startup event for startup founders, investors, ecosystem enablers, tech innovators and student or campus entrepreneurs from across Tamilnadu. Supported by NITI Aayog and AIM and sponsor partners, the event attracted a footfall of around 1500 visitors including many early stage startups and young innovators. The highlight of the event however is the presence of Vijay TV Fame and motivational speaker Gopinath & Startup TN Mission Director Sivarajah Ramanathan as the key note speakers providing valuable startups on startup creation, funding and art of scaling up a business.
The event roped in 30+ speakers, as part of the Startup 20 Sabha, including Rajeev Kumar Gupta, President – Policy Bazar; Rohit Gupta, Director –NITI Aayog; Udaya Sankar, Deputy Director – SSC NASSCOM; Suresh Kumar, President ISBA & Executive Director at PSG-STEP; Shashank, Co-Founder of 100X.VC; Ganesh Nagaraj, Head of Regional Quality, APAC Region; Senthil Sankar, Chairman –CII Karur; Rathnakar Samavedam, Investment Director, Hyderabad Angels; Satish Ganesan, Vice President, The Chennai Angels; Chandran Krishnan, CEO, SSN iFound; among others. The event featured individual talks, panel sessions, fire-side chats and networking sessions for startups to interact and connect with speakers, industry experts, investors and founders.
Exhibitions stalls displaying the products and solutions of startups and incubates of AIC Raise and other incubators was another added attraction. While the welcome address was given by Dr.Nagaraj, VP-AIC RAISE, the vote of thanks was delivered by Pradeep Raj, Senior Incubation Manager. The event arrangements were managed by Arun Raaj Manickaraj, Head Investments and Business at AIC RAISE.
