COIMBATORE, Tamil Nadu, December 13, 2024: StartupTN, the nodal body for startups in Tamilnadu, joined hands with SREC SPARK Incubation Foundation, and organized the ‘Manufacturing Startup Meetup’ in Coimbatore. StartupTN is a Tamilnadu government organization that is into nurturing a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state. SREC SPARK Incubation Foundation, the incubation center of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) in Coimbatore supports technology-driven, knowledge-based entrepreneurs from the initial ideation phase through to the launch of their startups.
StartupTN, in collaboration with SREC SPARK Incubation Foundation, organized the StartupTN, in collaboration with SREC SPARK Incubation Foundation, organized the ‘Manufacturing Startup Meetup’ at SREC located in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore. The meet attracted around 45 startup founders from the Kongu region, mainly with manufacturing and IT background, who attended the meet braving the rain that lashed the city. Prakash T, Program Director for Drives & Controls at Bosch, and the keynote speaker for the event delivered an insightful talk with an interactive discussion on support systems and solutions to the challenges faced by startups in the Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 sectors, following Srisabarinathan of Team Maxbyte who spoke at length on the training and resources that assist industrial enterprises and emerging professionals in their journey towards the transformation associated with Industry 4.0. Both the topics were well received by the participants who suggested the content as highly informative and industry relevant.
Gayathri Chidambaram, PL, StartupTN for Coimbatore region, outlined the organization’s contribution towards building a strong ecosystem across the state. The various startup schemes and policies developed by the organization were listed and highlighted that proved immensely useful to the audience. Dr.Thirukkuralkani, the Incubation Manager at SPARK, and founder of Tectzo Solutions Pvt.Ltd, explained about the incubator’s supportive environment designed to nurture and develop early-stage startups. A few incubatees including Glamscrap Technologies Pvt.Ltd, Ui Bridge Solutions, Artispec Technologies Pvt Ltd, among others gave an interesting overview of their innovative products and solutions, and an account of the role played by SPARK in helping them grow and advance. The session was followed by some active startup networking and refreshments served by team SPARK. Thirukkuralkani delivered the event’s vote of thanks
